A: Yes it will. This lens is not a zoom through it is designed to be used with the camcorder lens fully zoomed out.

A: I tried 2 Tiffen UV filters and they are very hard to screw on because ether the thread count is different or there aren't enough. When you get it on there is a slight crop in the upper left corner with active steadyshot off. When it's on and you pan quickly, the crop is large. There also is a reflection going on from the filter to the adapter when light hits it. I rely on the rubber Zunow lens hood for protection because much of the time you can't use the UV filter for these reasons.

A: Yes it will. This has a 72mm filter thread to fit on the DVX200.
