I use this device in front of a professional HDMI switcher (Roland V1-HD) if more than 4 cameras are required and a delay can be allowed between transitions of cameras behind the 5in1 (while the transition delay is occurring another camera from the remaining three HDMI ports is on.)- Jack

A: Yes, you can. Or I prefer to use the IR remote. And I know that 1 is the cable TV and 2 is the computer so I don't ever need to look. But there is a blue LED light on the top of the switch that lights up next to whichever switch is activated.
