Create a clear connection between your interviewer and interview subject from up to 20' away with this P2P Interview System with Two 19" High-Bright Teleprompters from ikan. Each durable aluminum teleprompter comes with all components, including prompting software, to display text if you desire on the 70/30 beamsplitter glass. Each prompter accepts a variety of cameras, thanks to six different camera mounts, and it enables both the interviewer and interviewee to look directly down the lens while only viewing the image of one another. Images displayed on the monitors can be viewed from up to 20' away.

The two teleprompters support both vertical and horizontal image flipping for other applications such as on-location standups or live broadcasts. Included counterweights make the system adaptable to most setups. Reusable foam inserts used in the shipping process can be transferred into a rolling case, available separately. BNC composite, VGA, and HDMI inputs allow for connectivity to computers, video cards, and more. Purchase of this Interview System includes the PrompterPro software for macOS and Windows operating systems.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Maximum weight supported

A: ikan states that the maximum camera weight supported by the ikan Professional 19" High-Bright Teleprompter Travel Kit (HDMI) would be up to 250 lb, but we would recommend only working with weights up to 35 lb that are typical for video cameras.

Q: 2. I have a question about the Photo metrics. What is the lux output levels of these lights at full power?

A: At a distance of 3 feet, the IB508-v2 hits 2186 lux at 3200K and 2130 lux at 5600K. The iLED312-v2 reads 716 lux at 3200K and 723 lux at 5600K at 3 feet.

Q: 3. Can I use this setup as a normal display for conference call? I want to look people in their eyes when I talk to them.

A: The ikan Professional 19" High-Bright Teleprompter Travel Kit would need an added Talent display. The display will allow the talent to compose the shot and look directly into the prompter. ikan 19" SDI High-Bright Teleprompter with 19" Talent Monitor Kit BH #IKPT4900STMW

Q: 4. Do these lights come with the remote to dial up and down their power? Also do the light have tilt capability in the connection that goes on the stand?

A: These lights do not include any wireless remotes like our IFB or IFD lights, however local dimming and color temperature control is on the back of each light with a rotary knob and a LCD display. The IB508-V2 includes an adjustable light stand adapter which allows for tilt and each iLED312-v2 includes a ball head. All 3 lights can be tilted when using the stands and mounting accessories included in the kit.

Q: 5. WHICH PROMPTER SOFTWARE COMES WITH? MAC OR PC?

A: It is both Mac and Windows compatible.

Q: 6. I do not see the diffusion panels listed for the lights. Are these included or do they come separately?

A: The diffusion panels are included !

Q: 7. Can this be powered with a v-mount battery via a d-tap to 12v cable?

A: The IndiPRO Tools 12V D-Tap cable will be able to power the monitor on the ikan Professional 15" High-Bright Teleprompter via a V-mount of Gold Mount battery.

Q: 8. Just to clarify, this prompter does include an HD SDI input? We were disappointed that our 12in iKan prompter had composite BNC and couldn't accept an HD signal.

A: The Ikan PT4500-SDI has 3G-SDI input as well as HDMI and VGA input.

Q: 9. What mounting hardware do I need for this?

A: This monitor has a standard VESA mount on the back however it is designed for a Specific Teleprompter (Ikan PT4500). We sell this monitor as a replacement unit in case someone damaged the original monitor that comes with the PT4500. If you are looking to purchase an entire teleprompting solution we recommend that you check our selection of teleprompters that come with all necessary components. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/products/Teleprompters/ci/2122/N/4028759394?filters=fct_monitor-size_1235%3A15in

Q: 10. This setup is listed as the same as the PTZ kit prompter, are the hoods the same or is this one smaller? The PTZ hoods are deeper to accommodate the PTZ cameras but I can't tell if these have the same hoods with the extensions folded up.

A: The two prompters are of different design and the parts used in the PTZ model are overall different from this model.

I love this paper. I found some at my school and immediately bought a roll. Definitely one of the best matte papers I've used and for an amazing price. Highly recommended.

It is beautifully packaged, consistent and yields great prints. My printer is an epson 4880 with matte black inks.

I'm an advanced amateur and do a medium volume of printing. Dozens but not hundreds of images hanging on other peoples' walls, mainly 12x18 and 16x24. Epson 3880. After printing on semi-gloss media for years (Harman Baryta and Canson Baryta were favorites), I've recently switched to matte for framed work. I don't adhere prints to the backboard, I mount to a front mat with archival corners, and the gloss papers show the paper's undulations since the print is floating. It's particularly distracting with larger images and with museum glass. I've tested probably 50 papers by printing color wheels, B&W scales, and a handful of challenging images on each paper: same images, same size, same printer. Epson Hot Press Bright is my current favorite. Particularly behind glass or acrylic, the blacks are as black, the colors as vibrant, and the details as sharp as the barytas. In fact, if there's any glare from daylight or artificial light, the HPB is more vibrant because there are fewer distracting glares. It's important to test your prints behind the glazing of your choice if that's how they'll be displayed. Mattes get better behind glass; glossies and semi-glossies get worse. Of the 4 Epsons, I prefer the smooth Hot Press to the stippled Cold Press, and the white Bright to the warmer, creamier Natural, but that's just personal preference. Hahnemuhle PhotoRag Ultrasmooth is very comparable, but 50% more expensive.

This paper is amazing. I shoot a lot of night images. Often the blacks look washed out on matte paper. However the tones look wonderful on the Hot Press Bright.
