A: The FS100 has a Sony E mount. You would need an E mount to EF mount adapter for compatibility.

Q: 4. Camera bags

A: I would say the 24 to 70. because the ultra wilde won't be as flattering for portraits and won't compress the background nearly as much as at the long end of the 27-70. plus the 24 end still gives you wide angle for landscapes awsome walking around lens even though a bit heavy.

A: Fundamentally, yes. This lens will not physically extend when focusing nor will the front element rotate, which is nice for users with circular polarizers. The lens is fixed length.

So far i have used his lens for landscapes and just used for a wedding. The camera does great in low light settings as long as you are using a tripod. The lens takes tack sharp pictures. The one thing that would be nice is to have a version with IS system. The focus is fast, sharp, and quiet.

On a non full frame camera like the Canon 40D/450D, this lens is not as wide as the Canon 10-22mm EF-S. However, this lens gives sharper images. It is a lens that landscape enthusiasts should not do without.

Very good handy professional wide lens. Very useful both full frame and crop cameras. Never live home without it. :)

I ordered this lens on Friday, arrived today, immediately attached it to my 5D and WOW, what a great lens. Canon did their homework regarding the softness around the corners! I had tried the 17-35mm, soft edges, sent it back. I had been reading about the soft edges of the first 16-35mm L lens but was ready to order one anyway. While on the phone, the sales person told me they had just received a limited number of the new series II lenses but at a price. Well, it's worth the price IMO. Solid colors, great contrast and covers the entire sensor on my 5D. If you have been thinking about getting one of these wide angle lenses, I would suggest the series II lens, pay the extra $$'s and you won't be disappointed, I'm not. I noticed the difference the first two exposures I made with this lens. Put them into Adobe Light Room and WOW, get the series II, thanks Canon engineers, great job fixing the soft spots!! . I also purchased a B+W thin UV lens and even with the UV lens attached, no ring, no hazy spots, etc. Great lens folks! Problems Encountered: With the B+W UV lens attached, the Canon lens cover cannot be used, you have to use the pressure fit B+W cover instead, no biggie, just wished the Canon lens cover would be able to attach but the UV lens is very thin, not much area to grasp the lens cover so the pressure fit is ok. Previous Equivalent Items Owned: Canon 17-35mm L 2.8 Items I Recommend: Canon 5D, Canon 70-200mm IS L 2.8
