A: Th Meade 12" LX200 GPS SCT does not have any screw hole to accept a dove tail plate. If you are referring to the Dual-Ring Quick Release Bracket on the Explore Scientific 8x50 Erect Image Illuminated Polar Finder Scope, the Meade 12" has a much wider diameter then the Explore Scientific.

A: There is no front filter threads in the Explore Scientific BT-70 SF Giant Binoculars.. In the instructions, Explore Scientific explains, the filters will be mounted in the 1.25" eyepiece threads.

A: I have an older Meade LX200 12 , and the dovetail bracket did not fit my scope. I used my existing bracket and placed this finder inside of it. The illumination lights up a crosshair. Instead of simply being two lines that cross over one another, there is an open circle at the center of the crosshair. The included redlight isn't very good though, and I plan to replace it with a model from another manufacturer.
