Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. With an adapter to a 3.5 mm jack, can I connect the audio output directly to my camcorder's mic input?

A: Technically you could but it is not recommended. The receiver sports a line level output whereas your camcorder sports a mic level input, which may cause clipping or other undesirable effects.

Q: 2. I have one of these units that has frequencies 907.7, 921.2, 912.8, 927.5 MHz. Can I add a second unit with your frequencies?

A: Yes, you can use the Nady DW-44-LT-HM Four-Channel UHF Wireless Microphone System with Four Lavalier Mics & Four HM-3 Headsets (Black, B1: 905.8 to 925.9 MHz) with another DW-44 system that operates on the 907.7, 921.2, 912.8, 927.5 MHz frequencies. As long as each system operates on different frequencies, there should not be any issues.

Q: 3. Can i buy only the headphone

A: Unfortunately the headsets are not available. They only come with the whole system.

Q: 4. What type of a mic adapter end fits in the body pack?

A: The body pack transmitters require a compatible female 3 pin mini XLR connector.

Q: 5. The lapel mic on this unit stopped working. What other microphones would work with the transmitters of this unit?

A: You may consider the Azden EX-503 Lavalier Microphone, BH #AZEX503.

Q: 6. Is this a fixed frequency system or can the frequency be changed within it's prescribed range?

A: The Nady DW-11 is a fixed frequency wireless mic system.

Q: 7. According to image, it serms that when using 2 persons/2 transmitters the output signal from the receiver is Mono, right?

A: Yes, the audio output from the Pyle Pro PDWMU211 2-Person Wireless UHF Microphone System is dual mono which means you will hear the same mixed signal with the combined output from both transmitters on the left and right sides.

Q: 8. Can you confirm the channels/frequencies? I need Ch D15/D16 (915.30 and 916.80).

A: Since the Nady Dual Channel Digital Handheld/Lapel/Headset Bodypack Wireless System is available by special order only, you can place the order by phone or contact us through live chat and specify the frequencies that you need so we can order it for you.

Q: 9. what is the range of the mics?

A: About 50-75' maximum, line of sight, no obstructions.

Q: 10. Under diversity it says "Antenna Diversity, True Diversity" but it has just two antennas. So it is just true diversity when one channel is in use?

A: True diversity, as described with the Samson Concert 288 Presentation Dual-Channel Wireless Microphone System with 2 Headset Mics & 2 Lav Mics, infers that a receiver has dual antennae as well as dual internal chips to assess and choose the stronger antenna reception of an incoming signal. A dual channel receiver with independent internal diversity chips can still be considered true diversity for this reason.
