A: The microphone capsules on the GLXD2 Handheld transmitters are fully integrated (hard-wired into the transmitter) so if you are looking to switch out your current mic capsule for another, this is not possible in the GLXD Series. Beta 58A performs under all conditions. I have much more expensive miss ready at hand but if I don't want to take a risk and know that i need a resilient mic to come along with me I choose beta 58A under all conditions. I have performed from small to large venues with this mic and it never disappoints. Low to high frequency is clear and even if you drop it or spill any liquid over it it still works. Bang for a buck!

Perfect for live vocal applications. My top choice for vocalists. Also incredibly durable.

The Beta 58A is well worth the higher price of it's excellent sibling, the SM58. I love the accurate reproduction, the very sensitive proximity effect, and the ability to handle very high sound pressure levels with little or no distortion. I definitely plan on adding more of these to my live mic collection in the near future as well as some Beta 57's!

Really Can't go wrong with this mic. Its still a crazy durable dynamic mic like the sm58 but allows for much higher gain to feedback on axis. The polar pattern could give you issues if your talent is used to cardioid mics and not willing to listen. This is a great choice for anyone looking to buy a super-card in any price range.

This mic is great for the price. I got it and plugged it into my unit amp and the sound was great, I finally heard the truth quality of my voice. It was like using a sound board to make my voice sound good. This mic does it already, set to go and record my voice. Little clearing up of the range for my voice. I recommend this mic for the price.
