Good quality, knobs have good friction when loose. Pleasantly surprised by the quality.

This is perfect for a monopod. Seems to be very well made and is definitely a solid and rigid head. The bubble level can easily be removed. Great design.

Although the Desmond DMH-2 / DAC-X1is advertised for monopod use, I purchased the tilt head for taking multi-row panoramic shots on a tripod with the camera in horizontal mode. It replaces a cumbersome pano head. I am happy with the Desmond unit, it's well made, fit for the use put to and the price in New Zealand currency is good value for money.

My set up comprises- a leveling unit attached to tripod screw, a rotator (Gemtune DH-55), the DMH-2 / DAC-X1 and a nodal rail to allow camera (nikon D850 & 24-70 mm lens) to be moved back and forwards to correct nodal point.

Head seems well constructed and does a good job holding the Arca plate. The knob seemed oversize until spent some time on the monopod with the camera mounted. Allows good access to adjust and tighten. Looks like a deal for the $$

This bag is of great quality! Very large to accomodate my tripod with ballhead and extra umbrella, flash stands... Weatherproof and very well made. Don't hesitate if you are in need of a bag like it, you won't regret...

I was initially looking for a replacement head to circumvent the frustration of different mounting plates for my tripod and monopod. The DMH-2X1 delivered far more than that with a very well engineered and manufactured unit that more than met my goals for weight, support weight capacity and mechanical capability for a very reasonable price. I did rotate the plate mount 180 degrees to accommodate the way I use it, which was very simple. Thanks to B&H for making the product comparison and selection process so easy.

This is my second bag like this.� Larger by an inch than most bags that cost much more.� Very durable.� My Smith-Victor Propod legs with Manfrotto 502HD head fits––with my Oben Lh-2510 Leveling Base Head in place, the tripod fits best head down and the Propod feet just stick out of the bag, but I don't have a problem with this.� Larger bags are hard to find and cost much more. You can't go wrong with this bag, and I might buy another for my light strands.

The Desmond DMH-2X1 Monopod Tilt Head is exactly what I needed. This is a very well made piece for a lot less money than essentially the same item with the big brand name logo. I like that the clamp can be rotated to make it usable for either a camera body or a long heavy lens. And, it can either be threaded onto a monopod or tripod - or even clamped into an Arca-Swiss style clamp. Yes, I'm very happy with this purchase.

I've never found a head for my old Bogen monopod that worked really well with my Sigma Sport 150~600 until I ordered this. I'm an old guy, and this really helps me use that lens much more often. It gives good support, and I can dial in how much tension I want the tilt feature to have.
