Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does slik pro 700 dx come with a carry.case when ordering from B&H

A: Yes. It does come with case.

Q: 2. Are the inputs electrically isolated from another? I have a keyboard with right and left 1/4 outputs (stereo) and would like to connect both to the speaker by using two inputs

A: Each speaker has RCA plug in. You will need two stereo y-cable with 1/4 mini male one end and the other end with RCA ends. Wonderful Speaker really enjoy them.

Q: 3. Will this tripod hold a Nikon D500 with a 600 lens?

A: Sherri;you shouldn't have any problems with this combination.

Q: 4. How can I attach my Oben ball head to the tripod?

A: A technician at Oben did not recommend using the ball head on this tripod. Apparently the male end of the screw is only 3/16 inch. The technician believes it is fine for attaching an SLR but would be unwieldy for the base of the tripod.

Q: 5. Would this tripod be good for taking videos?

A: The Pro 700DX was not designed with video in mind, mainly still photography.

Q: 6. Will the 3way head support the Photek TRI-X-2500 Tripod Extender with a light weight camcorder or camera. I'm concerned about the quick release. Will everything work together?

A: This tripod has a load capacity of 19.8 pounds. It should be able to handle the weight of a small camera or camcorder and B&H # PHT2500. However we suggest that you use a sandbag on the other side that the camera is not on to keep the tripod balanced. An option that you can fill yourself, as you may not need a full 5 pounds, would be the ideal choice for that. https://bhpho.to/2K5SHpe

Q: 7. How can I remove the head? I have read the instructions and tried everything. It just spins and spins but will not loosen or come off.

A: What happens often is that the head is not tighten down. So, it will just spin and spin while you try to unscrew the head. Make sure all of the knobs on the head are tight and then try to unscrew the head from the legs.

Q: 8. Does this speaker have a line out?

A: Yes

Q: 9. Will this tripod work with Canon rebel t2ii?

A: You shouldn't have any problems with this combination.

Q: 10. is this speaker battery powered ?

A: The Pyle PPHP1037UB will require AC power.

This is the first professional tripod I have owned. It seems very well built for the price, has nice features, and the pan-tilt head is quite fluid. I've already used the two bubble levels to level the camera on uneven ground while filming a 360-degree panoramic. It is heavy if you have to carry it much.

I recently upgraded my tripod to the 700DX from a much less professional one and I am extremely pleased with my purchase. This tripod has great stability and is easy to use. It's heavier than my last tripod, but worth it's weight in gold!

This is the second one I've purchased. If you can't afford a Benbo, this is the best alternative out there.

This is a rugged, strurdy, basic tripod with two levels and a really innovative base-plate for the camera. I really like it.

I bought this tripod to be a stable platform for a spotting scope and heavier telephoto lenses. For those purposes it is excellent. Without your own private porter, it is not something you would want to take with you in which it would need to be carried over long distances. It is taller than most standard tripods so that even taller people (e.g., 6'5, 195cm) can use it without the need to stoop over, and of course it can be shortened to almost any level above the ground. The foam padded legs are nice for those times when you would want to hoist it on a shoulder for a moderate trek to a new location. The tripod legs can be set at angles of three levels of acuteness. They are conceptually simple to adjust, but are somewhat stiff in practice. The included head has two bubble levels to assist in panning. It gets five stars from me because of its good stability and high strength at a modest price.

Just got this tripod the other day and I was thoroughly pleased, well made, sturdy and a great height for me, plus it does things it did not say in the description ( inverted camera mounting) I had a compact Slik tripod years ago when I was shooting film and loved it and this one did not disappoint, at a little over 7 pounds the weight is okay with me, but this is one sturdy tripod, shipping was great ,ordered it on Black Friday 2014 and got it the following Monday and no shipping charges, Great Service!
