Shoot full frame cine images at a wide-open T1.4 while bringing that renowned "Cooke Look" to your images with the S8/i Full Frame Plus 100mm T1.4 Prime Lens from Cooke. This 100mm lens is part of Cooke's S8/i lens set and features a PL mount for rock-solid mounting. It shares consistent focus and iris gear positions across the S8 lineup for fast lens swaps while optically providing a warm, long-lens feel for close-ups with an organic feel that does not sacrifice sharpness. Shooting at T1.4 allows you to get an extra stop of exposure when shooting in dim conditions or chasing that last shot of the day. With a focal length of 100mm, this lens can provide a shallow depth of field that separates your subject from the background.

Designed to cover full frame cinema camera sensors and suitable for studio, location, handheld, stabilizer, and drone shooting, it is color-matched to other Cooke lenses and has focus markings on both sides of the lens. The PL mount incorporates i/Technology contacts that feed lens information metadata to compatible cameras, including focus distance, aperture, and depth of field. A cam-type focus mechanism with a large lens barrel diameter allows for precision focus markings, especially at close focus, while the 9-leaf iris is marked in whole and thirds of a stop for accurate exposure.

All S8/i FF lenses have a common fixed front diameter of 104mm, with a focus drive gear of 140T x 0.8 MOD and an iris drive gear of 134T x 0.8.

This lens is delivered in an ARRI PL mount, which can be adapted to an ARRI LPL mount via an optional adapter. The lens is available in a native ARRI LPL mount by special order.

The optics feature controlled flaring, low distortion, and limited spherical aberration, and they are color-balanced to match the profile of other Cooke cinema lenses, so they can fit right into your existing kit.

The lens features an Academy Award-winning cam-style focus movement coupled with the benefit of a large lens barrel diameter, which allows for an increased number of focus markings, particularly at close focus. A four-point contact bearing also provides smooth positive backlash-free movement.

Every focus mark throughout the 270° focus rotation is individually calibrated and engraved on both sides of the focus barrel for precise focus pulls in feet or meters.

Cooke S8/i FF lenses have a 9-leaf linear iris with a maximum aperture of T1.4 across the majority of the lens lineup. This allows for greater control over depth of field and flare characteristics while still providing excellent low-light performance.

The S8/i FF lenses also feature the latest Cooke /i lens data technology that provides focus and iris position as well as motion/inertia, mapping, shading, distortion, and calibration data. It is accessible via a cable connector near the lens mount and synchronizes with /i compatible cameras and accessories. The electronics board has also been resized and repositioned for easy serviceability.

The lenses are designed for all shooting applications, including handheld, stabilizer, and even drone work, providing a comfortable balance ratio with the latest compact digital cinema cameras.

Every Cooke lens is coated with a scratch-resistant PTFE hard-anodized finish that provides a durable, hard-wearing surface to meet the most demanding environmental conditions.

Works flawlessly (as expected)! I needed a power conditioner to put in my bands new rack with an expensive mixer, wireless rigs, PA controller, etc. I knew I wanted a Furman for the dependability and stumbled across this model for a much lower price than a competitor was charging. Couldn't pass it up so purchased and love having the lights on the front and the Voltmeter for added piece of mind! Would definitely buy again!!

Yes, power conditioners are boring. If you only have a laptop and an audio interface, you may even feel they are unnecessary. However, once you get more gear, you definitely need clean power to supply it all. If you have operated without one, and then add one in, it can clean up things that you did not fully notice before. I already use one of these, but I had to get another for a second gear set I'm building.
