This AquaTech Zoom Gear 11927 for FUJIFILM 45-100mm f/4 allows full zoom control on compatible AquaTech water housings. The zoom gears operate in a smooth and responsive manner and are available for a range of different lenses. AquaTech's zoom gears are made from Delrin, a strong and lightweight material, and will not lose their shape over time or with use.

The zoom gear pitch is matched perfectly to the zoom control on the inside of the water housing for fast, responsive control in those critical situations when quick changes to your lenses focal length are needed. The only thing that I can think of that could possibly be improved is that if one is using this lens for landscape photography, it would be nice to have it a little wider at times like open to 32mm but this is probably not even possible. The positive end of this lens is endless and it turned out even better then I expected. This lens is extremely well made as are all of the Fujifilm lenses. Both the zoom and focus rings are very smooth. The aperture ring is perfect and has the nice C and A options with the lock. The image stabilization of this lens I find to be easily worth at least 4 stops if not 5. This lens is simply very well made with the weather sealing and all of the options. Pertaining to the performance of this lens, I find it to be very sharp from the middle to the edges all the way from f4 to f16. It may not perform quite as well near the edges at f4 but nothing that sticks out. There is a little bit of vignette near the edge at f4 if you turn off the auto correct on the lens but nothing that it does not take care of automatically within the camera when shooting. One thing that I was really surprised with was the bokeh. Of course when not zoomed in so shooting at the 45mm end, there is not really that much separation from the background as it can only open to f/4. However, when at the zoomed in end (100mm) and shooting wide open, one can really get very nice separation of the subject from the background and the bokeh is very smooth and pleasant. I was really surprised with just how nice it is in this way. I have been using this lens even more than I expected as it can really cover a wide variety of situations. It can be a very nice landscape lens that can cover tons of scenes, especially with how much one can crop with the 100mp on the camera while also being a very respectable portrait lens at the same time. I have enjoyed this lens even more than I expected! 5

This lens if flexible, sharp as a tack, reasonably compact and light, and of highest quality. I have already used it extensively and can vouch for its quality, build, and sharpness when used with the GFX 100s body. 5

I already have 45 and 110 primes. So I planned to get 63 and 80. But because my studio work never use wide open so I want to try this zoom. It turn out to be a great lens and I use it most on GFX100. I wish it can gt closer to the subject but I can get an adapter for that. 5

Once again Fuji has created an excellent lens for the GFX series. Their attention to production quality is evident. Since it covers a great range of framing choices, it is useful to me when I hike into remote places searching for a shot. Here is a recent image taken with this lens. I highly recommend it. 5

This is an incredible lens. I've had it for a few years now, and it is a work horse. Sharp, fast, with luscious detail, perfect color, and excellent character. It is my goto lens. I also have the 110. Love that also, but this 45-100 with its zoom range, is such a fun lens. I marvel at some of the images I produce with this. 5

This is a wonderful lens with a large number of ways to use it. It opens up wide enough to use for many landscape opportunities while also zooming in tight enough for portrait photos with very smooth bokeh. Of course, it would be even nicer if it could allow one more stop of light in it but there is a limit of what is possible when using a sensor of this size. I have found no issues with this lens at all. It is very sharp from edge to edge, even wide open. There is practically no chromatic aberration, the image stabilization works amazingly well such that a person gets at least 5 stops worth of benefit. If there has been anything desired, it might be that when shooting landscape there are times I wished it would open up a little bit wider. So if a person was wanting a lens to predominantly shoot landscape, the 32-64mm might be a better fit but pertaining to the lenses performance, I have found no faults in the slightest! 5
