Featuring a high-performance InfiRay Vox detector, the E3 Plus V2.0 allows you to get highly detailed thermal images that make it easy to search for targets in darkness.

When it is necessary to temporarily stop observation, you can apply the monocular's standby function. It provides the necessary level of camouflage between observation sessions (no light is seen from the eyepiece of the device).

Picture-in-Picture improves accuracy by providing a 2x magnified image of the reticle area at the top of the display. It helps to zoom in on a target while retaining the rest of the field of view visible.

The E3 Plus V2.0 provides more than 5 color palettes for true colorized temperature mapping, including white hot, black hot, red hot, color, and hot target highlight.

Based on estimated heights of targets, you can quickly get the rough distance from the target with the built-in stadiametric rangefinder.

Track the hottest spot in the scene automatically and discover the target quickly.

Normally, I buy OEM Canon accessories. Have for years. but this time, as I'm searching for a wireless off-camera flash trigger, I saw this on the B&H site and started reading the reviews. I started a chat with the B&H technical folks and was given some pretty impressive opinions. At $150 less than the Canon unit, I'd expect some loss of features/quality/craftsmanship. Not the case. This thing does everything the high-priced spread does. I, like many reviewers, found the instruction manual lacked some cohesive explanations regarding how to set the unit up, but a quick Google search brought me to several YouTube videos where I quickly learned the menu system and basic set up. Once I got the Canon 600EX RT to connect to the right channel, both units lit up and the flash fired without a problem. I can even change the intensity of the flash by several steps right from the unit on the camera. It even supports the auto-focus mode of the 600. This is a great product. I have a competely different set of flash trigger transmitters/receivers for my studio light set up for my Alien Bees strobes, but this unit, working with 2 Canon 600s is the perfect setup.

Just got this today, and so far its absolutely perfect. It fires and controls my Canon 600 RT EX without a problem. Took me a little bit to understand how to sync them together, but once that was done it worked perfectly.

I worry about long term quality, the hot shoe is affixed askew by about 2 degrees, for example.

And the user interface is like a GPS from the 90’s- but I suspect the official canon one is similar. It could be so simple to use, but the UI is just Byzantine.

All the functions work as designed, but many of the features would also be available in a flash, possibly even for cheaper

Works perfectly with my Mk IIl and Canon 600 RT units. Used outdoors at night and could control the units with very precise adjustment easily made. Always wanted an on camera transmitter, just could not justify the cost of the Canon unit.

I was very skeptical when making the decision to purchase. Yes, it's cheap, but I also didn't want to be replacing this 6 months in as I had to do with a similar product (different brand). I purchased this in the store and received a great explanation/comparison with other products. The set up was easy and straight forward, connected to Canon Speedlite 430 EX III.
