Mount your Sony VENICE or VENICE 2 and an attached riser to this 15mm LWS Baseplate from Bright Tangerine to ensure your camera is at the proper height for 15mm LWS rig setups. The baseplate is compatible with ARRI dovetail plates, and its quick release system can slide, lock, and vertically release the camera with ease.

Two 15mm LWS standard rod clamps secure in the front and rear of the baseplate. Multiple safety mechanisms prevent accidental releases for additional security with heavier camera setups. The baseplate's aluminum construction ensures a durable and lightweight design.

The Acratech Panoramic Head is simply flawless. Quite smooth operation. The knobs lock tight and keep things aligned. The markings are very legible and helpful. I would highly recommend you also purchase the Acratech Pano Head with Arcatech Leveling Base. Bubble placement is great. Once the leveling base is level you easily confirm with the central bubble at the base of the Pano Head. A great combination. 5

Initially, I was hesitant to replace my previous ball head with this approach; however, upon installing the Acratech Panoramic Head with Leveling Base Kit my reservations disappeared...This unit is rock solid and the leveling base works smoothly to dial in a level shooting position. I've put a D850 with a 300mm f2.8 on it to test weight load operation and again it passed with flying colors; in fact, it feels a lot more secure when making adjustments than with the ball head set-up...I would recommend this product without any reservation or caveats. 5

Seems kinda strange looking, but Acratech has a winner here. It's much easier to adjust than a traditional ballhead. And with the leveling component., you can setup the tripod legs any way you want and use the leveller to get the camera perfect. Great for stacking panos. 5

How have au ever lived without it. The combination of leveller and pano head totally replaces my previous ball head . Levelling is so simple and quick with perfect results every time. Handled my Sony A7r4 with 100-400 lens with no problem. 5

This is as good as it gets. 100% worth the money. Immaculate build quality. Precise and easy to see indicators. Smooth operation and a bubble that proves the level, that you can actually see! Imagine if you will. This is was huge purchase for me, and I love it. 5

This panoramic head combined with the leveling base provide a compact method for pan and tilt control of the camera/lens combination. The ability to quickly rotate the QR clamp 90 for either camera base or lens foot clamping is particularly useful. There are separate knobs on the tilt pivot to control drag and lock but a single knob on the pan base to provide adjustable pan drag and locking. Note that this does not provide the same level of adjustable damping as a video head but it is compact, light and ideal for a traveling tripod. I have only been using the unit for a few days and so far I'm finding that regardless of adjustment the drag tends to vary slightly over the tilt range. However, I expect the tilt drag to smooth out over time and on that basis I'm giving it five stars. 5
