Q: 10. Can this support the total weight of an Isco Ultra Star Anamorphic Lens? The idea is for that and the taking lens to be adjacent without actual attachment so the taking lens wouldn't be able to help support the weight of the collared lens (the Isco)?

A: It will support the weight of the Anamorphic Lens, but we would recommend not having the lens support as the only point of contact for it. The lens supports are recommended to be used with a lens that is also attached to a camera body or another lens.

I don't have much experience with 15mm rods, but these really do the trick. They are very rigid and light. And the price is difficult to beat. Some rods come with an ability to link sets together. These do not have threads or any way to extend to a second set. Not necessarily a negative, just something to note. The description as it is right now does not state if this item is a set. I can confirm yes you get two identical rods about 10 long.

Use as side of cage I use for multiple cameras - great for accessories and a 2nd Tripod Plate to flip camera on side for Green Screen Shots.

Great low cost substitute for RedRock rods. These worked just as good, but were considerably cheaper.

This rod is very light and provides good support. The quality of this rod is very impressive. Please, check the sizes of the parts you want to attach to this rod before ordering.
