For this rig library, Choptones chose to capture the venerable Fender Concert. A tube-powered 60W amp with one clean channel and one overdrive channel, the '80s Concert is a true workhorse amp combo that has long been a favorite among funk and blues players. The sparkling clean channel resembles the sound of larger Fenders and takes pedals very well, such as those included in this library. A true hit among clean tone seeking enthusiasts, this amp is adept at mid-gain sounds through its overdrive channel, for harder, more aggressive music genres and playing styles.

The Fend Concerto rig library was captured using numerous cabinets and speakers for a wide variety of Fender-style clean and overdriven flavors. The seven cabinet and speaker combos include:

  • Fender Concert 2x10 loaded with Fender CTS
  • Fender 2x12 loaded with Jensen C12K
  • Fender 2x12 loaded with Eminence Special Design
  • Fender 4x10 loaded with Fender CTS
  • Fender 1x12 loaded with Celestion V-Type
  • Fender 1x12 loaded with Alnico Blue
  • Fender Bassman 2x12 loaded with Celestion G1250
