This cover sports weatherproof, 600D polyester over a PVC base on it's exterior and soft, 190 T Taffeta fabric over a PVC base on the interior for protection against scratches, nicks, and hits.

Heavy-duty zipper openings with hook and loop fasteners are included, allowing for access to the handles, rear-connection panel, pole mount cap, and front, which can be blocked from one side with the hook and loop fasteners. A: For shooting real estate, I would go with the 12-24mm, always better to have the capability of a wider lens when you need it.

A: Yes - in fact, I bought it specifically for that purpose. It gives you an FOV of about 19-38 - which is a pretty solid wide-angle range for a crop-frame camera.I haven't shot with this enough yet to post a full review, but I have been very pleased with what I have seen so far.

Q: 8. Can a person who is otherwise a die-hard Canon lens fan be satisfied with this Sigma lens? The comparable Canon 11-24mm seems just too expensive.

A: Buying a brand-new lens does not necessarily means you will get a good copy. You will need to test the lens out yourself. If you are lucky, then you will have a good copy. If not, you will need to calibrate it with the DSLR you are using to adjust the sharpness.Unfortunately, I did not get a good copy so I am waiting for USB Dock for Canon EF-Mount Lenses to arrive so that I can use it to calibrate my Sigma lens. I believe once it's calibrated correctly for your DSLR, the sharpness should be as good as the Canon 11-24mm.

A: Unfortunately, we do not have carry a filter adapter for the Sigma 12-24mm f/4 at this time. It might take some time for an option to hit the market.
