Designed for ENG cameras, the Fujinon HD 7.6-175mm f/1.8 ENG Zoom Lens with 2x Extender and S10 Servo is a 23x zoom lens with HD capture in a compact form factor. When its 2x extender is engaged, the lens's focal length increases to 15.2-350mm. A fast f/1.8 maximum aperture is optimized for low-light performance. Its advanced S10 drive unit features an ergonomic, palm-sized form, faster and smoother zoom and focus functions, minimal focus breathing, and metadata output via 16-bit encoders for use in virtual systems.

Q: 2. Can this lens be used (with an adapter of some kind) on the Canon C100 Mark II Cinema EOS Camera?

A: I'm afraid not. There is no adapter that will allow you to put a 1/3 B4 lens on an EF Mount Camera like the C100 Mark II. They do make adapters for B4 to EF, such as B&H #MTB4CANEF, however it requires a 2/3 B4 lens with a 2x Extender. Lenses like that start with the Fujinon XA20sx8.5BERM-K3, which is B&H #FUXA20SX85BE.Another thing to keep in mind is that Canon is about to release the CN-E 18-80mm lens which you can pair with the ZSG-C10 Zoom Grip, B&H Numbers CAE1880EF and CAZSGC10. The CN-E 18-80mm will give you a servo zoom lens that does not require an adapter or any additional power supply when used with the C100 Mark II.

Q: 3. how to control aperture on this lens?

A: This lens is normally on an ENG type of camcorder. The camcorder can control the aperture electronically. Or the camcorder is connected by a cable to a CCU or Camera Control Unit . Then a person, usually a video engineer, controls the aperture particularity in a studio. Finally, the aperture can be set manually for there is a aperture ring on the lens.

Q: 4. can this be used on an HD ENG/studio camera like the hitachi Z-HD5500? does the 4K even matter? shouldn't it still work on an HD 2/3" B4 mount camera? thanks!

A: Yes. As long as the Hitachi Studio Adapter for use with all Broadcast box, compact studio and hand-held 2/3-inch bayonet lenses are in place.

Q: 5. I was using this camera to film a football game but found myself focusing the game manually the entire time. Is this lens capable of AutoFocus? Just wondering.

A: This is strictly a manual focus lens.

Q: 6. Which PortaBrace lens cover will fit this? Small - 3.5"x5", Medium - 5.5"x6.5" or Large - 6"x8"?

A: Yes. But be mindful that Hitachi Studio Adapter is needed for use with all Broadcast box, compact studio and hand-held 2/3-inch bayonet lenses such as the one mentioned.

Q: 8. Can this lens be used on a Sony alpha6500 camera? Either with or without an adapter?

A: We're afraid not. There is no adapter that will allow a 1/3" B4 lens to work on an E-Mount camera.

A: While not exact in specs the Canon KT14x44KRS 1/3 HDgc Lens is the only Canon Lens we offer that will work on the JVC 1/3 cameras like the HM710 and HM790.

The clarity is great when combined with the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Lens . Fast focus on the 7D Mark II. The combination on a crop sensor provides a maximum focal length of around 600mm. Can't beat the price for this combination on quality. I shoot auto sports and air shows and will use no other lens for these events. 5

I purchased this 2X extender to use with my Canon 6D and my 70-200 mm 2.8 zoom. My intended use is for wildlife photography (planning a Safari), and since I got it, I have primarily been experimenting with it and learning how to use it with birds in my back yard. I spent 2 days taking photographs of planes in flight at a recent airshow, testing focus tracking. Overall I am very impressed with this product. It works exactly as advertised. I don't seem to have lost any focusing functionality, all modes and all focus points work. I read that focusing time is slower than with the native lens, but I have to say, I find it focuses very fast in most instances, and I am pleased with its overall performance. I am sure that there are people who will feel that there are significant reductions in optical performance compared to other lenses, but I really wanted the versatility of a fast 70-200 zoom AND a 400 mm option. At 400 mm and 5.6 the combo is still pretty fast, and the weight and acquisition cost of the extender compared to say the 100-400 zoom (loose the 2.8 capacity up to 200mm), or a native 300 or 400 fast prime made the most sense to me. I can carry it with me and I have 2 lenses for minimal incremental cost and weight. Overall, I am very impressed with the quality of the build, and the images that I get with this product. I would highly recommend it as described above. 5

You see postings about extenders causing some image degradation but I found the EF2X III from Canon to be much sharper than I expected. I had my first nature shoot with this attached to my EF300mm IS II and was very pleased with the images as I pulled them up in my image editing software. Of course the 300mm is a extremely sharp lens to start with. It does slow autofocus a little and you lose 2 stops of light. Little to give up to achieve 600mm though. 5
