Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can I set this meter that I want to use a shutter speed of 200th of a second? Or will it only go to the straight numbers like 125 and 250?

A: Yes, in custom settings.

Q: 2. Will this work on a camera that has a side mounted cold shoe? Meter would be on it's side instead of flat.

A: Yes, the TTArtisan Meter (Silver) should work fine with camera that has a side shoe. As long as the front of sensor is not blocked on the meter it can work.

Q: 3. In the overview it says, Not designed for photographic work . What in the wide world does that mean? It's a light meter...

A: This meter only measures the intensity of light, it does not provide any information that can be used to set the exposure on a camera (ISO, f/#, etc.).

Q: 4. What is in the box?

A: The actual light meter, a USB-C cable, three different size shoe mounts (aluminum shoe mount included), and a limited 1-year manufacturer warranty are included with the Keks KM02 OLED Light Meter (Black), B&H # KEKSKM02B.

Q: 5. What is the measurement angle?

A: The TTArtisan Light Meter (Silver) has a 45° measurement angle.

Q: 8. Can this meter light for extremely dark shots like the night sky that might require 30" exposures?

A: The TTArtisan Meter (Silver) is not necessarily designed for outdoor nighttime photography. The TTArtisan Meter (Silver) has an exposure range from 1 to 1/2,000 second, an aperture range of f/1.0 to f/22, and an ISO range from ISO 25 to ISO 3,200. Using EV -3 as the exposure value for a night sky away from city lights under a full moon, you would need a lens of f/2.0 or brighter to meter properly with this light meter under these lighting conditions.

Q: 9. Where is this light meter manufactured? Thank you.

A: Currently this meter is manufactured in the PHILIPPINES.

Q: 10. iS l308x-u GOOD FOR LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY?

I've been using this light metering for quite a while and the results are awesome! I rely on this light meter for accurate exposure. My film camera doesn't have a built-in light meter, so I carry this thing around. It's small and responsive. It can do incident and reflective metering, which is awesome for getting well exposure for portraits and landscapes. I would recommend to every photographer.
