A: The Kupo Junior Drop Down works very well and is smooth. Note, most do not use the complet item in in a straight down position The pin is what is made and used in a straight down position. And that way it works very well.

Q: 2. Can two of these be connected together to make a longer crossbar, like some Manfrotto crossbars?

A: No, because the BackDrop Pole is designed for lengths from 47 to 126. Going longer would sag and stress the pole.

Q: 3. Can this work as a slave ?

A: If the Westcott FJ200 Strobe is set to Manual mode, you may use the built-in optical sensor to fire the strobe once it detects the light output from another photographic strobe/flash. Likewise, if you connect the Westcott FJ-X2m Universal Flash Trigger to your camera's hot shoe, you may wirelessly trigger the Westcott FJ200 using the wireless radio remote as the FJ200 has a built-in integrated FJ Wireless Flash System radio receiver.

A: Each end of the cross bar is suitable to fit over a 5/8" stud, even the studs on a C-stand which are the same size. We have not heard any plans of this product being discontinued on the manufacturer's end.

Q: 6. what size paper should i buy for this setup?

A: The width of the rig is adjustable, so you can use either of the standard size Savage papers (both 53 inch and 107 inch will work). Obviously if you've got the space to handle the larger paper, that gives you more options when shooting.

A: The Photoflex Muslin Backdrop (Black, 10x12') is black in color.

Q: 10. how much weight is too much for this pole? A 150 ft roll of seamless weighs 100lbs. Will this pole hold that easily?

A: I think that much weight would be a challenge, and is more than I would want to trust for safe and dependable support, especially if it is eight or nine feet above the floor. Whether you are photographing a person or persons, or a product or products, that amount of load on stands and a crossbar is more than I would choose to elevate eight or nine feet.
