I use this product to power my FX1000 and HVL-20DW2. For the camera, 440+ minutes of recording time is great! Shooting weddings and events becomes a no brainer with this battery! I don't know the rating of time for the light but so far, the battery hasn't died on me. It does take a few hours to recharge the battery but it isn't a problem if you have spares or have time between jobs to recharge. 5

Got this for use with a Sony NX5u with an FMU128 for multi-cam event shooting (including weddings) and for depositions. With this and the NPF770 that came with Cam, I can shoot for hours and hours. 5

I purchased the Sony HVR-HD1000U and decided to go with an extra battery, so happy i did! This lasted 10hrs, which was perfect for an event we were working where power outlets were extremely limited. Don't overlook things like batteries or you'll be kicking yourself when you miss out on those important shots. 5

I've only used it to record one event and it lasted the whole 3 hours and a half without any problem. It is also compatible with the lighting that I bought for the camera, the HVL-LBPA LED VIDEO LIGHT f/HVR-V1U. 5

WeddingLive EventStudio*Corporate The Sony NP-F970's have never let me down. They last super long and with the quick charger, re-charge fast. We tried generic NPF types but they were a disappointment. I even use it with the Bebob LuxLED 12 light and still get at least two hours of usage from the light and Camera (Sony FX-1). It's great because I was able to ditch the 28lb battery belt for my original light. Rock solid performance that is worth every penny. 5

I have two for my Sony NX5U, do lots of outdoor activities with heavy zooming action. I can run all day on these. They actually fit entirely inside the NX5U - and don't protrude out the back at all. 5

This is a great battery for an event or wedding videographer. I don't have to worry about it dying during the long day so there is no loss of a moment (unless you count switching tapes). Very convenient. This is my second one. My first one lasted for 6 years of shooting before it finally died and it couldn't be charged anymore. I know other videographers who buy several smaller batteries and the hassle and price is not worth it when you add up having 6 batteries versus this one! For the price and longevity it is a great investment. 5
