The Audix R62 Kit is a Performance Series dual-channel true diversity receiver designed to deliver enhanced range and easy configuration for musicians, vocalists, presenters, and public speakers in houses of worship, concert venues, conferences, and live stage applications. It offers 207 pre-coordinated frequencies across 64 MHz of bandwidth in the 522 to 586 MHz frequency band. Use two wireless microphones (available separately) from up to 450' away. One-touch sync and auto scan functions provide simple and efficient setup.

The high-contrast LCD shows a host of information such as battery level, frequency, and AF/RF signal strength, which can be optimized via adjustable AF and RF gain. XLR and 1/4" outputs allow compatible connectivity with the balanced or unbalanced inputs on your mixing console. The R62 Kit ships with two antennas, two BNC cables, an audio cable, one power supply, and a rackmount kit.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Are these Mics UHF?

A: Yes. These microphones are UHF operating at 584 - 608 MHz

Q: 2. Am I reading correctly that this system can support both mics transmitting at the same time/same channel?

A: This system features a dual receiver, so both mics can operate at the same time, but they have separate outputs, which would go into two channels of a mixer. The Samson Concert 288 All-In-One Dual-Channel Wireless System (H-Band, 470 to 518 MHz), BH #SASWC288ALLH does offer a mixed output, if you require a single output to your mixer or portable speaker.

Q: 3. Will this system be impacted by the recent re-allocation of portions of the the 600mhz frequency ranges to cell phone companies? Or is their use illegal?

A: The bandwidth referred to collectively as the 600 MHz band includes frequencies from 617 to 698 MHz. Since this product operates below this space, it will not be affected by the reallocation.

Q: 4. Are there external antennas?

A: Only on the belt pack. The receiver and handheld mic have internal antennae.

Q: 5. Hi there, does anyone know if this is an updated model from the one that B&H sells for $99 ? ... The other model is Samson Stage XPD1 Presentation USB Digital Wireless System -- thanks for any help.

A: It's a different model and we sell them both. You seem to be confusing two different systems. B&H # SASWXPD1BLM5 is the single channel system with the USB receiver.B&H # SASWGMMSHLM8 is the dual channel system The receiver itself plugs directly into iOS devices with the included micro-USB to Lightning cable, though it can also communicate with other devices utilizing either micro-USB or USB-C cables.

Q: 6. What receiver works best with this base?

A: The Shure MXW1 Hybrid Bodypack Transmitter with Microphone (Z10: 1920 to 1930 MHz) is designed to integrate into a larger "networked" audio system and uses transceivers from Shure's MXW line such as the Shure MXWAPT2 2-Channel Access Point Transceiver (BH #SHMXWAPT2Z10) to communicate with the larger system. The MXWAPT2 feeds a unit such as the Shure MXWANI4 4-Channel Audio Network Interface (BH #SHMXWANI4) for further system integration.

Q: 7. If i purchase MXW1 and i have already the MXWNCS8 network Charging station,Can link it / Plug andplay myself and it will work ?

A: The Shure MXW1 Hybrid Bodypack Transmitter with Microphone (Z10: 1920 to 1930 MHz) is just a transmitter. By itself it will not do anything. It is designed to work with a networked audio system containing transceivers such as the Shure MXWAPT2 and the Shure MXWANI4 4-Channel Audio Network Interface.

Q: 8. Is the 1/4' output labeled Instrument out a line level output?

A: The manual shows the 1/4 inch output as -13 dBV into a 100K ohm load. With consumer line level at -10 dBV it's close but not quite line level.

Q: 9. does this system include a case for protection and transport?

A: No, it does not.

Q: 10. Do these come with the appropriate cables to feed out to a mixer?

A: It does not. You will need 2 mic cables.
