I just picked up this unit from B&H today and I have a problem with the quality and fit of the LP-E6 battery plate.The plate is not manufactured to the correct width for smooth insert and removal of the Canon battery. It's pretty near impossible to slide the battery into the plate without whacking it in and out with a mallet. While I feel the monitor is made well, I am very disappointed in quality of the battery plate and wonder if there is a replacement available. I have noticed multiple reviews regarding this issue. A: The battery has to be put down through middle of the plate then press toward battery connector contact side ,please call LILLIPUT USA if you still can't put the battery in,thanks .
