The SureLab D1070 Professional Minilab Printer from Epson is designed for high-production printing of small-format photos. It supports up to 213' paper rolls and prints up to 460 photos per hour in the 4 x 6" size, 300 at 5 x 7", and 165 at 8 x 10". The compact size and integrated output tray of the D1070 Minilab make it well-suited for photo booths as well as portrait and event photography. The D1070 Minilab prints on one side only. (For dual-sided printing on paper sheets, please check out the related D1070DE, which supports paper rolls but also includes a duplex sheet feeder.)

The D1070 Minilab printer features the advanced Epson MicroPiezo AMC printhead and AccuPhoto image processing technology. It supports the UltraChrome D6r-S six-color ink set, sold separately. These vivid dye-based inks deliver a wide color gamut and produce prints that are resistant to water, smudging, and fading. Other key features include a nozzle detection and alignment technology that ensures less downtime and more reliable operation. Connect the printer over Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or USB.

Immediately put in operation upon arrival and follow You tube instruction on how to set up the printer. Set up is very easy and smooth. I ordered the 5x7 photo paper set and upon installing the printer and the set ink, it spit out 3 line up sheet then the green light came on. In just 10 minutes, I was able to put the printer in it's test and the first print came out real nice. The next day, I took the printer to a birthday celebration and left the paper, dye sub ink in tact. I turn on the printer and immediately the green light came on ready to print. Nice and very fast printer and I recommend it for on site printing. 5

I purchased this printer after owning a Hitih720 P for two years. Completely dissatisfied with that product! The DNP is fantastic. Easy to transport, economical, and prints faster than the Hiti. The day after I received it I did 350 on site prints, no issues, no problems. Easy to install the drivers and had no problems with Photoshop or Lightroom. Made a call to customer service to see how the response was, got through in a few minutes. Hiti is unfamiliar with the word customer service. 5

The DS620A is amazing. I've used it at two events so far with the 5x7 media. The print quality is outstanding and it's incredibly fast. Faster than my assistant could send prints to it. But the number one reason to buy this printer is how easy it is to use. DNP has done a stellar job with the print drivers. The driver installer has worked flawlessly on 3 Windows computers and I was printing within minutes each time. If you've ever spent hours trying to get Shinko printer drivers to work like I have, you'll now just how awesome this is. I'm a DNP convert! I bought the Nanuk 945 hard case for the printer. It doesn't have wheels, but it's the perfect size as it holds the printer, 2 rolls of paper and ink, the cables and the tray. Loaded up it's a pretty heavy affair, but highly protective. 5

I understand how many won't see the value in a printer this expensive, but I'm amazed by it. The price per print is lower than any other photo printer I've used. The ease of use with the roll of paper and dye loading one time and going for 400 prints (rated - I haven't reached the end of the first roll and I know I've printed well over 300 prints so far) is amazing - and I love that it can cut strips as well for using with a photobooth (which we have). And this thing just works - no hassles despite being moved a lot. The only thing I would change is the ability to print to it wirelessly - yes you can use a printer as a server and yes there was a wireless card but it's not offered anymore. Hopefully there will be a new option someday. 5
