One of the fastest artistic lenses, the Ibelux 40mm Mark III is the product of a collaboration between KIPON founder Xiaoming Zhang and Klaus Eckerl of IB/E Optics, a German company noted for their manufacturing and mechanical design. The 10 blade diaphragm and extremely fast speed make this lens an ideal low-light performer.

A: Yes, it'll be able to mount but do keep in mind that it is APS-C format and not full-frame so it'll be in Super 35 format for video.

Q: 3. How does it compare to the Zhongyi Mitakon Turbo lens II?

A: Unfortunately, we do not currently have a comparison. The KIPON Baveyes 0.7x Mark 2 Lens Mount Adapter is a special order item we do not keep in our inventory. We do not place an order for the lens adapter until we receive an order from a customer. There is a 2-4 week estimated arrival after purchase. We also do not have the lens adapter on display in our NYC Superstore, and I have not seen any comparisons listed online comparing the above lens mount adapter with the Mitakon Zhongyi Turbo Adapter Mark II Lens Adapter. However, do note, if you purchase the lens mount adapter and you are not happy with its performance, you have 30 days from the original purchase date to return the lens mount adapter for an exchange or a refund.

Q: 4. Is this the same lens that was sold under the brand name Handevision?

A: Handevision and Kipon have a close relationship so yes this is the same lens maybe with some tweaks.

Q: 5. Will this lens adapter enable autofocusing with Nikkor D type lenses?

A: This lens adapter is manual focus only.

Q: 6. will it work with the Z9?

A: KIPON Ibelux 40mm f/0.85 Mark III Lens (Nikon Z) will work with the Nikon Z9 but it is a APSC lens. It will crop the full frame sensor of the Z9. Less than half of the available megapixels will be used.

Q: 7. is there any other option for full frame E-Mount as fast as this one?

A: Yes. The KIPON Nikon F Lens to Nikon Z Mount Camera Adapter will work with the older Nikon AI lenses.

It all started with a 45mm f2.8 GN Nikkor I purchased in 1974. Mounted to a Nikkormat FS it slid easily into a jacket pocket and went with me everywhere. Now it's available in a 40mm focal length with a larger f2 aperture and a whole lot sharper than that GN Nikkor. End result is a light, fast, walkabout lens in a very useful focal length. 5

Small size, great looking lens on a Z7ii. Great micro-contrast and saturated colors. Sharpness is crisp in the center wide open, sharp nearly edge-to-edge by f/4. Autofocus is fast and the focus ring turns so smoothly. No pouch or hood provided, I added a small Vello 52mm screw-in metal hood. A handsome couple when paired with the 28mm SE on a 2nd camera body. 5

Great little lens. We tend to get wrapped up in pixel peeping, but this lens produces very pleasing images. Great packaged with the Zf. 5

I got this Lens to go with my Nikon Zf. This lens is a perfect fit for this camera. The images are very crisp and more than sharp enough for fantastic portraits. I do not Pixel peep. The Bokeh is excellent and does more than enough blurring when taking closer portraits. I see this lens as my work horse lens for most of my work. It is plastic with plastic mount but it is strong enough to not bother me one bit while in use. Lack of an aperture ring is a miss in this beautiful lens. Addition of a function ring would have been nice. Sigma offers many of these features in its lens. Nikon needs to look into it for future versions supporting Zf. 5
