A: The white is unaffected by the black. The white is a solid piece of fabric that is very reflective.

Q: 5. What is the difference between Profoto Magnum reflector and the Profoto OCF magnum reflector? is there an advantage to buying both? Thank you!

A: The OCF has an Adjustable 40-80° Beam Angle and is designed specifically for B1X, B1, B2, B10, D1, D2 Flash Heads it gives up to 1.8 Stops More light output than the Built-In Reflector. The standard magnum is much larger in size and has a fixed 50 degree angle.

Q: 6. I am looking for a 12 inch diffuser with a cover that gives you silver and gold. Does this item exist?

A: I bought collapsible 12 diffuser soft gold/white last year from B&H Photo. So, yes, the item exists. Good luck.

A: Yes, you can use the Profoto Zoom Reflector for Profoto - 65-110 Degrees with a Profoto B10 flash.

Q: 8. What is the size folded. Is it 12 opened up?

A: It is 12 opened up. When folded and in its cute little bag, it's about 4.75 inches. I slip it into my small handbag that I use to carry 2 spare lenses (I like to travel light). Perfect size for macro photography!

Q: 9. though name as reflector, does it provide 1-stop or 2 of diffuse of light, while use it without any sleeve?

A: The translucent cuts down 1 stop

I purchased this reflector after doing some research on the various brands and options when it comes to reflectors. I chose this one because I can use the silver side for a nice reflection that will provide a some contrast on the subject photographed. The white side I will use for a softer light or a bounce off the strobe. It was perfect for my needs. I also chose Profoto because I don't mind paying extra for quality and this seems to be very well built. The handles are nice and the weight isn't a problem. It's light enough to hold with one hand and shoot with other (as long as there isn't a reason that would preclude you from doing this.) Folding it can be a bit tricky. What I found to be the best way to fold this is hold one corner with your palm facing up (the hand below) while the other hand is palm down with the fingers facing you. (Your elbow is almost sticking outwards.) Then a figure-eight twist and you should get it. If you're new to this type of reflector then I'd practice before taking it out in the field. Beyond just well made! This reflector has a rigid enough frame to keep reflector working better under many conditions. silver side works very well and is a strong source with hard light though it can gather soft light well too. my only change would be to have a smaller Black edge especially on the white side, the black can show up in reflections. I have this for in studio and outside and it is the best reflector I own. 5

I used this primarily for fill light with portraits. I purchased the white silver and will possibly add a diffuser version one day. It's simple fast, has a great set of handles, easy to clamp to a light stand or have assistant hold outdoors. 5

Works great, made of high quality materials. Opens and collapses easily. When open it is much stronger than ordinary reflectors. Probably the best collapsible reflector you can buy. 5
