I can't specifically address your rig, but as the main body and all bushings are solid metal and all pole and tripod slots are secured with locking screws, I would have no qualms about using it for much heavier rigs than you describe. I use a Paul C. Buff 1800 with 7' umbrella with this attachment, and it holds just fine at whatever angle I set. I don't think you'll have a problem with it.
