This works well for me to hold an XY pair of mics for concert recording and takes up very little room in the bag I'm using to transport it! 5

I have 4 of these, and these days with more Zooming than face-to-face I find it easier to hold (with the correct adapter) an iPad at the proper height and distance than any other method. I also use them for my drone FPV display, my portable audio and video recorders, and even hang a mic on them ! 5

This mic stand from Auray is an instant purchase for travelers. The build quality is better than I expected for the price point. Its lightweight enough to bring along to just about any gig and telescopes down to a really small footprint. Although this isnt the stand that youll use as the primary fixture in your permanent studio (youll probably want something weighted), having this in the toolbox will let you handle overflow and mic additional vocalists on the fly. When it comes to pick-up-and-go, this is absolutely perfect for being nimble. 5

I purchased the Auray traveler’s mic stand with boom attachment recently. I needed something completelely portable and collapsible lto put on my small dolly that I use for gigs. It’s well made and works perfectly. I’ve ordered a companion case (currently out stock at B&H )which will protect my purchase when it arrives. Great Product. 5

What a great combo. Lightweight, collapses into a very small package yet strong enough to hang a DJI Osmo off the end of the boom without tipping. The case uses big long strap handles that you can clamp on almost anything yet keeps the contents secure. I like this. 5

A compact, stable stand that fits in a backpack and does the job. The materials are robust with minimal plastic, giving the stand a confident weight. I have owned many nano stands, and this one is the best by far. It is limited in height, but so long as you are not using a boom and do not need to go too high, it is a must-have for the traveling audio engineer. 5
