Q: 6. how does this differ from a glyph 1tb studio mini mobile hard drive?

A: The Black Box model has only a USB 3.0/2.0 interface and spins @ 5400 rpm. The Studio Mini has, USB 3.0, Firewire 800 and eSATA interfaces and spins along @ 7200 rpm.
