Convert your 3.3 or 5V micro-SATA drive to be compatible with a computer with a standard-sized SATA drive with this DupliM Micro-SATA to SATA Adapter for 1.8" SSD. This adapter features a 16-pin micro-SATA female connector on one end that you mount on your 1.8" Micro-SATA drive, while the other end of the adapter features a 22-pin male SATA connector that supports data and power. The adapter is RoHS compliant and features gold-plated connectors.

I replaced the hardfile in my main computer with one of these six months ago. I decided to buy a second one for a full copy of the existing one. Now if something goes wrong, I can swap the SSD and recover very easily. 5

While the MX500 is not an exciting drive from any point of view, it's just a great value drive in cases where the price-to-performance ratio is important, such as replacing the storage in old machines. Hard to argue with how Crucial has placed these drives in the market, especially since they're generally quite reliable. 5

Installed this as the master drive in a new entry level MSI gaming laptop that came with a 256MB M.2 SSD . I'm 60 years old and by no means a gamer. My games are flight simulators. And, being an old geek I prefer to see a hard drive in a box so to speak. The original M.2 drive is still in the laptop as a filing cabinet for my less used junk but I am very happy with the performance of this Crucial drive! 5

I bought 2 of these SSD to add to the other 2 units i already have for use as external storage for my video projects. I am amazed how fast they are compared to my original spinning hard drives storage method. I have been using Crucial SSDs in my computers for a couple of years without any complaints. It is only because of the recent drop in prices has it been practical to replace my Hard drive storage method with the Crucial SSD's... talk about a happy camper, I am one! 5
