A: According to the manufacturer, the AVer VC520 Pro Expansion Microphone (B&H # AVCOMEXPMIC) can increase the voice pickup range up to 15'. In a business setting with ambient noise such as a nearby HVAC system, assume a lower ideal range of 10-12.5'.
