The Exell A32PX 6 volt alkaline battery is a direct fit replacement for the old mercury battery used in the Yashica Electro35 rangefinder 35mm camera. This batteries resuscitated the camera! The voltage is a bit higher than with the mercury, so you may need to tweak your exposure for critical work. With the Electro35 this is easily accomplished by changing the ISO (ASA) on the original Electro35. Frankly, shooting regular negative film didn’t require any change. 5
