The 65" extra large Deep Translucent Umbrella from Profoto has a translucent design, allowing light to pass through it and create a diffuse light with very soft shadows. The increased depth of this model allows for more precise control over the spread of the light. Also, it features 16 fiberglass rods for a rounder shape and more even light spread.

It is made of heat-resistant materials and the metal elements are surface treated to prevent rust and discoloration. Additionally, this umbrella comes with a fabric carrying bag for travel and storage.

The unique shape of this light modifier makes it a must have in your photography. The soft gentle fall off is unmatched when compared to other Translucent Umbrella.

Meh, an umbrella is an umbrella ... or so I thought. These new Profoto Deep Umbrellas are step above.

Well made and solid feeling I suspect these will last much longer than previous umbrellas I've used. Very robust opening and locking device and the translucent material is better than others.

Expensive as usual with Profoto, but I'm learning that it's worth it in the long run.

This is a well constructed umbrella. It feels even better that the two small white umbrellas that came with my D1 Air kit, and those aren't bad either. I also got the optional back panel for it, and am impressed with how versatile this tool is. I picked the medium size because it will pack nicely in my 2x D1 kit.One thing to note is that when shooting through this medium umbrella with the back panel attached, and it's hanging directly under the light, the D1 needs a little help keeping the umbrella from slipping out because of its weight and slick tubing. I twisted up a rubber band and put it on the shaft as a stop. I was also able to loop the cinch-cord for the back panel around the D1's handle, so it can work in that configuration without assistance as well.

Yes, you can but a much cheaper umbrella from lesser brands, but this umbrella is the only one you'll ever need if you're willing to pay the price. It has fiberglass ribs and the umbrella pole is made of high-quality stainless steel. No issues if it ever gets wet. I went out to shoot images of my wife this weekend and got the best pictures I've ever gotten of her. Even she loved them which is saying a lot! Highly recommended!
