$134.97 $194.36

The 39mm, 930nm Infrared Lens Filter from Kolari Vision blocks visible light up to 930nm from the light spectrum. It features uncoated glass in an aluminum ring with 39mm threading on both sides.

Unlike the 550/590/665nm versions of this Kolari filter, this 930nm version does not require a full spectrum modification to be made to your camera, but only as long as you use the camera mounted on a tripod and set it to shoot long exposures. Otherwise, a full spectrum modification is required. That entails removing the camera's low-pass filter and replacing it with a clear filter. Once that's done, this 930nm filter will work as intended. (Kolari Vision can make the modification for you at a cost if you send in your camera to them.)

Q: 1. Does this remote work with the Pentax K20D?

A: The Pentax Waterproof Infrared Remote Control is not listed as compatible with the Pentax K20D DSLR Camera.

Q: 2. Is this fully compatible with the Pentax K-3ii?

A: Yes, it is fully functional with the K3 II.

Q: 3. can I us a 2/3 lense on a 1/3 camera?

A: Yes you can

Q: 4. Is it possible to use it with bulb mode?

A: Yes. Works on K-3.

Q: 5. Will the remote work from any angle to the K-1, i.e., in front of the camera, below the camera, to the side of the camera, etc.?

A: It requires line-of-sight in fairly close proximity. It works well within those limitations. The K1 has a receiver for the remote on both the FRONT and BACK of the camera so you have pretty good latitude. I use the remote and a tripod for rock solid performance with my K-1. :-)

Q: 6. Does this lens take infrared picture or normal images? (I have seen review of this lens that takes normal images. is there a non infrared version of the lens?)

A: This lens records both infrared and normal wavelengths of light. Most lenses are not corrected for infrared light.Which means if you set the focus on your lens for normal shooting it will be blurred or out of focus for shooting infrared. If you likewise set the focus for infrared and try and shoot the next day in daylight it will be out of focus again. This because infrared light focuses at different points in the lens than all the other wavelengths of light. What THIS lens does is it keeps you from having to refocus everytime you switch from shooting in normal light to nighttime infrared aided light. This is done using a IR coating to make sure the the wavelengths of light focus on the same point in the lens barrel no matter if its IR or not.Hope that helps anserw your question.23

Q: 7. Does this Infrared Remote work with the Pentax K-1?

A: Yes

Q: 8. Will the Pentax 39892 work with the KS-2 (including zoom)?

A: I have this remote and a K-S2.In auto focus mode - it can work either of 2 ways, the remote will focus with middle button and orange button will also pre-focus and release shutter. That is an in camera setting. OR, you can perform the shutter release only with orange button, and set focus with center button. Handy when you do not want to change a focus overtime you release shutter. Third button down performs a feature that does not seem to apply to this mode cameral. Zoom?? If you mean change in mm shift on zoom lenses (i.e. 18mm-50mm), that feature is a manual adjustment. Power zooms buttons are usually found on fixed lens consumer cameras.

Q: 9. What is the function of the lower two buttons ?

A: The button with trees is the autofocus button, the FN or function button can be assigned settings to mirror the P function on tour camera BUT only certain models and of course the big orange circle button is the trigger.

Q: 10. Will this kit allow an AppleTV remote to connect with and work with a 2013 MacBook Air?

A: Depending on the Apple TV remote you have, it will work with the MacBook Air. This will not control your MacBook. You can use the standard Apple remote BH #APMM4T2AMA.
