The AS-1 Pro Zoom Remote Controller from Acebil allows for remote control of Panasonic, Sony, and LANC cameras, and Fujinon and Canon ENG lenses. It attaches to your tripod pan bar using a universal clamp bracket and offers selector switches for zoom direction and zoom speed.

Zoom speed choices are fast and slow. The camera/lens type is also selectable by switches. The clamp bracket secures to the AS-1 via a rosette mechanism.

A: No it is not. The A7 III does not have a LANC port..

A: The Acebil RM-S1 remotely controls record on/off, focus, zoom and iris with LANC camcorders. The Sony PXW-X70 is a LANC protocol camcorder so we see no reason it will not work.

Q: 3. Is this compatible with the Canon CN-E 70-200mm lens?

A: We have not tested it, nor have we heard of such use in general or from the manufacturer. However, the lens is designed to work with similar controls so we are not seeing anything saying it will not work.

Q: 4. Any reason this would not be compatible with a BMPCC HD?

A: this should be compatible with the original Pocket Cinema camera however its functions may be limited. For example the zoom in/out toggle will only work with lenses that have motorized zoom control (there are only 2 for the MFT mount). The record button will work but the zoom function may or may not work depending on the lens that you choose.

A: The remote port on the Panasonic FZ300 would not work with the Proaim LANC Zoom Controller which is designed for camcorders. The input is a shutter release port that would be compatible with the Panasonic DMW-RS2 Remote Shutter controller. Panasonic DMW-RS2 Remote Shutter BH #PADMWRS2

I purchased this controller to use with my Panasonic AG AC90A camcorder. It works great. I had previously purchased a controller that said it worked with Panasonic camcorders but did not work with this camera and it only had one cord. This controller has two cords which is needed to input into this camcorder. If you have the Panasonic AG AC90A, this is the controller that works. 5

We use this with an Panasonic AG-HPX170 Pro P2 camera. We do shows that require 3 cameras on trypods and this makes it better. 5

I use them on Panasonic cameras and have just purchased my third one. I have had one go bad however it had over 250 hours and two years on it. they have a nice feel to them and are very controllable and easy to use. 5

Works great with my Canon Vixia GX10.� I haven't had occasion to use the focus yet (except testing it out), but the variable zoom is fantastic - very responsive, very slow with a very light touch, to very fast. 5

The Remote Zoom operates very will the the Canon XF205 all of the function work well. Connecting the remote to a tripod adds a smooth panning and zooming with a single hand operation. The 205 is great till you put it on the tripod its a little harder to zoom but with the Libec Zoom it is perfect. A must have piece of equipment when working on the tripod! 5

I appreciate the handle controls with my NXCAM for events. The zoom control is smooth, just the way it should be. Great alternative to the expensive Sony unit! 5
