Q: 4. How can i connect an cdmi cable to this device? Is there an adaptor?

A: You can use this Atomos Connect H2S Converter. It is great for a camera needing to be mobile. For permanent situations, you could use the KanexPro HDMI to 3G/HD/SD-SDI Converter.

Q: 6. Is this at all cumbersome to use? e.g. running cables, powering it, finding a home for it in the bag or on your cart etc. Would it make sense to get this so I can get antenna or is it better to hold out/save for something like an Octopack or SL6 that can rack mount dual receivers and the antenna can plug straight into that?

A: The PSC RF Multi SMA is designed for bag use, unlike the octopack which is designed more for a rack/cart. If you want to keep the bulk to a minimum, while still having antenna splitting capabilities, the RF multi SMA is the way to.

Q: 7. Is this compatible with active antennas or only passive antennas?

A: The PSC RF Multi SMA (470-700 MHz) is compatible with both passive and active antennas.

Q: 8. Does this work for the XSW-2 receiver? I am confused by EM-XSW-2, is it the same receiver?

A: XSW-2 is the wireless system model. EM-XSW 2 is the model of the receiver in the system. If you have a XSW-2 system, then this antenna should work with that receiver.

A: The audio outputs on this device through RCA. You would just need basic RCA Male to Male cables.

The Amp was very easy to set up right out of the box. I have a wireless Martin Logan sub that I just can't part with, thankfully, the Amp was compatible, and sounds excellent with my pair of Sonos One. 5

Have used Sonos for years. Started off with Play 1 and have been using it for years until I upgraded to Amp last year. It is the one of the best thing I have bought. As a music enthusiast and constantly searching for a sound system with best sound quality, minimum fuss with set up and operation, minimal wireless drop out and importantly good value for money. This Amp is the best, and couple with a set of good speakers, my home entertainment is all set for 7 days a week, particularly my weekends. 5

As the title says, just what I wanted. I wanted to have a wireless system to play my vinyl and multi disc player because my set up was on the opposite wall from the tv, beam, and sub. We didn't want any speaker wires running across the floor. It works perfectly and has wonderful sound. Once you get the hang of it (its not hard), it connects seamlessly to the play ones, beam and sub. If there is one thing I'd like to see is for the amp to have 2 inputs instead of just one. Had to purchase a splitter to run both the turntable and cd player through the amp. But you can pick up one for @$20 and it works great. 5

I have had Sonos in my home for a decade, and have updated to Sonos2. This means several OneSLs, a Five, several Connects and a Connect Amp. A few of my older components were new enough that they were Sonos2 compatible. One comment about the new touch controls (top of the OneSL and the Five and front of the AMP). These work great but I wish there were some tactile guide to help me find them. Sure I get a beep when I hit the control point, but I wish that I could be guided to the spot more easily. My AMP is positioned where I can see it, so very dim glowing spots would work, but this wouldn't work on the top of my Five or the tops of the One where I can reach the top but not see it. I have rather inefficient speakers connected to the AMP. I had the AMPs SONOS1 predecessor connected previously and I can't tell that the extra power output of the AMP makes any difference, but it does a great job at moderate levels. I thought it might "open up" after a few hours of use and perhaps my ears are not golden enough to hear that this did happen, but it sounded fine right out of the box and continues to sound great after many dozens of hours. 5
