Issued in celebration of the 75th birthday of Abbey Road Studios, the Curve Bender from Chandler Limited is a dual-channel, 4-band parametric EQ unit based on the vintage EMI TG12345 desk used to record countless legendary artists, such as The Beatles and Pink Floyd. This discrete analog, rack-mounted EQ unit can operate in either stereo or dual-mono modes and sports 51 EQ points, LED illuminated true bypass buttons, and two smooth, 6 dB/octave filters, high-pass, and low-pass, for quickly attenuating the output.

Each band on each channel sports a useful multiplier switch, which allows you to select between a standard x1 or a greater and more tapered x1.5 factor for the cut/boost steps and Q width, providing up to 13.5 dB of cut or boost as well as an out position to bypass the specific band. In order to facilitate ultralow noise operation and reliable power, the Curve Bender is powered by a Chandler Limited PSU-1 external power supply, which connects to the EQ unit via a dependable 4-pin XLR power cable and features an internal switch for setting voltage to 120 or 220V.

The Curve Bender features 16 EQ knobs (four frequency, four boost/cut per channel), four high-pass and low-pass filter knobs (two per channel), two output gain controls (one per channel), eight multiplier/bypass switches (four per channel, one per band), and two LED illuminated true bypass buttons. Peak and shelf switches are also provided on the highest and lowest frequency bands of each channel for further versatility.

Each channel of the Curve Bender sports a 3-pin XLR female input and a 3-pin XLR male output. Each female input is locking, ensure a reliable and snug connection to your input signals. The power input utilizes a rugged 4-pin XLR cable, which connects to the DC power output of your included PSU-1 external power supply.

Once they hold a meeting and fill the room with about 80 people, there is popping and cracking noises. They have shut done all but one of the mics and that seems to solve the problem. I even spread out the operating channels for the mics to prevent interference between the transmitters. Any suggestions as to the source of the problem?

A: Mine make popping sounds as well. I have used many brands in the past. I'm not a fan of the infra red system, it wastes time and they are still not clear. My Voco Pros work good, but that is a four mic rack system.

A: This product is not designed for Video conferencing. At this time Zoom, OBS, Microsoft Teams, ETC are not compatible with this product. There is no way to bypass the fact that your device (computer/tablet/smartphone) will have to choose between receiving the video from the Inkee or having access to the internet.
