A: The specs on the Softbox states it's designed for fixtures that are 6x12", the Godex specs are 9x14", therefor the answer would be no. I am using the Softbox on a 6x12" fixture and it fits perfectly. It would not fit any 9x14" fixture because of the hole on the back of the Sortbox, that fits on the face of the fixture, is 6x12".

Q: 4. Am I missing something? The tent only appears to have 2 zippered openings, 1 in the front and 1 on top, opposite the removable bottom. The small tent has more openings. Please tell me if I am just not seeing something. Than you.

A: These tents only have two openings.

A: While the manufacturers do not list the weight of the backgrounds, both are manufactured from muslin, and the Impact 10x12' Muslin Background has a package weight of 4 lbs, while the Backdrop Alley 10x12' Muslin Background has a package weight of 3.9 lbs. As the package weight of the two items are almost identical and they are made from the same material, I would guess the actual weight of the two items are also similar (or not different enough to be noticeable).

A: Yes it will work as their are adjustable velcro straps along the back of Angler Softbox.

The product is used for table top images of small items where light control in a confined space is very critical. It also provides protection when used in the field from wind that can be a problem in macro photography. The product is very well made and easy to set up. Comes with various backdrops, carry case. Open out of the box and ready to use in minutes. 5

I needed this for product photography and I love the fact that I can shoot pictures from the top, so I can shoot down onto the product, and the front. Also the a section of the bottom comes off so we can use any sized base I want, Im not restricted to what fits inside the unit, I can set it on any sized base. Very versatile and I can control the lighting. 5

The light is evenly distributed around the subject and the shadows are very soft, which I like. You can use a medium telephoto lens above 80mm for the shoot on a full frame. It's foldable and easy to store in it's storage bag. 5

I looked at shooting tents for weeks before I decided on this Impact one. I wasn't sure if I made the right choice until I opened it up! It had everything I needed and wanted. You can take off a full side to shoot products which was important since I don't have a Maco lens yet. It does does have the side with a slit to put your lends through and nothing more. But the surprising part I wasn't expecting was that it came with two plexiglass bottoms!! A long one and a small square one to cover your needs and if you chose to shift the tent horizontal or vertical. Overal, I shot with it the first day and couldn't stop telling myself that I made the right choice! (Also, comes with black and white sweeps. Not the greatest but worked very well for what I was doing - jewelry) 5

I've used this light shed to shoot small product shots and small fine art objects with great success. The included black and white backdrops and opaque plastic bottom are imminently versatile even allowing you to light from the bottom. The price is certainly right! 5
