I wanted an extra standard plate for my second mirrorless camera body, to use with the Peak Design Capture. The plate can be left on my camera all the time since it also works as a quick release plate for my Arca-Swiss compatible tripod heads. Very convenient, and it's also small and low profile, so it feels like it's not even attached to the camera. 5

I've been searching for an Arca Swiss compatible plate that doesn't block the battery door of my Canon EOS Rebel T5i. This is the perfect plate! It's beautifully made, has a low profile, and includes four loops for connecting a strap. I highly recommend it. 5

I own a Sony camera, which I also use as a webcam for my job. I was in search of a solution that would allow for a quick connect feature to eliminate the need for constant disconnecting and reconnecting of the bottom plate and camera strap each time I wanted to use my camera. Fortunately, I found this little plate that solved my problem. 5

Typical camera plate designs are proprietary to some degree as is Peak Design's Standard Plate. But unlike any other that I own or have used, this one is substantially smaller, lighter and completely compatible with PD's other accessories like camera and wrist straps. All this while being completely secure and easy to install. 5

Ordered this plate because I misplaced my original one. It works well with my Capture Clip and keeps my camera handy but safe. Hopefully I will now find my missing plate because that’s the way it always works out. :-) 5

I was moving and lost this plate. Without the plate, the tripod's pretty useless but ordered a new one and it works perfectly. Love the Peak Design travel tripod and am excited to use it again! 5
