Install an Android tablet or mobile phone holder to the switcher for livestreaming via the TAO App without requiring a computer.

Both embedded and inputted audio sources are supported with separate left and right audio level controls on the front panel. Audio can be independently selected from the video source. PPM monitoring is displayed on the PVW as a visual confirmation of source and output.

Picture-in-Picture can have masks and DSK/Chroma key effects applied to remove background colors and variable edge blend and soften its overall appearance. 14 transition effects and wipes are built into the M1 and can be used manually with the T-bar control or timed with the TAKE button.

Apply additional visual effects with fine grain controls for each input like brightness, contrast, saturation, sharpness, and color temperature.

This standard version features two NDI inputs and a Preview/Program output module with two HDMI and one USB-A 3.0 ports. Further customize the unit from additional, separately available modules for DVI, SDI, and Composite connections. All modules are hot-swappable.

A: The recordings saved to the 2 TB SSD drive when using the RGBlink mini-mx Streaming Video Mixer are in 1080p HD to MP4 file format.

Q: 2. Do these work with Sony FR7s?

A: Yes, the Sony FR7 Cinema Line PTZ Camera is compatible with the RGBlink PTZ Camera Controller.

Q: 3. Is there a good Pelican or SKB case that can fit this mixer?

A: We do not offer an SKB case or Pelican case for direct compatibility with the Tascam Model 12 at this time.

Q: 4. Does this have chroma capabilities?

A: The PTZCam Switch N8 does not have a built in chromakey. However you can overlay logo graphics.

Q: 5. Can a button be programmed to both change the input source (i.e. camera) and issue a preset with one press?

A: The PTZCam Switch N8 8-Channel NDI Switcher and PTZ Controller (B&H# PTZCSWITCHN8) can have a button programmed by using a preset to both switch to a certain source and switch to a certain color temperature for that source.

Q: 6. What is the max gain on the mice preamp?

A: 50dB

Q: 7. What is the A/D & D/A on this Unit? Also, what is the max Mic Pre Gain? Specs look confusing...seems to be +50db which is not enough for a SM7b (needs 60db) without a Cloudlifter

A: Tascam does not disclose which converters they are using. And yes, you will need to use a cloudlifter when using an SM7B.

Q: 8. Does the LPU1 recognize NDI/HX signals or is it only "full" NDI? I believe the two types or not compatible.

A: Yes, the Switchblade Systems LPU1 Switcher supports NDI/HX.

Q: 9. Does the switcher come with the Livestream Studio software pre-installed? Or do you need to purchase a separate Studio USB to activate it?

A: The software is pre-installed. The machine runs Windows and the icon for the program is easily visible once you boot it up. The only issue is with fan noise, which could be a bit much if your talent is right near the device.

Q: 10. When 48V Phantom Pwr is employed, does feed all inputs? Any protection for Dynamic mics?

A: Yes; Phantom power is supplied to all XLR Mic inputs. Protection is built-in for Dynamic Mics.
