Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this compatible with sennheiser G4 ?

A: Yes the PSC RF Multi SMA is compatible with diversity receivers in the 470-960 MHz. The Sennheiser G4 receiver is a diversity receiver.

Q: 2. Is it compatible with the Godox VL300?

A: This would not be recommended for a VL 300.

Q: 3. i want use this for ski and cruise ,do i need any license?

A: No a license is not required. This was used to communicate during a large convention at a resort hotel.

Q: 4. What AC power should I use for this?

A: The PSC RF Multi SMA (470-960 MHz), B&H # PSRFSMAWB, is powered from any source of external DC power of 10 to 15 VDC at 120 mA. Connect a source of external 12 VDC power to the Hirose 4-pin connector on the bottom of the unit.

Q: 5. Are there any barn door accessories that fit this Fresnel?

A: While this model doesn't offer optional barndoors, the Aputure Fresnel 2X Attachment would be a good alternative that does. https://bhpho.to/34l37Lt

Q: 6. Tell me this device will connect to the Aputure 120t? Is it real Bowens Mount ? Check my problem https://youtu.be/sohl8JVvB1M

A: Although a late reponse, this may help others. This will not work with the Aputure 120t without some sort of modification. The reason is that the mount is deeper than normal on the Aputure light. You would need the tube of the fresnel to be about 1/4 longer in order to work. You could modify the three tabs by filing perhaps to make it fit. This will fit on the Godox Speed Bracket and the Godox SL(B)-60 lights without any modifications.

Q: 7. Does this work for a Genaray Portabright?

A: Yes, they work together. The Impact Fresnel Spot S-Mount Attachment (10-40°) has the Bowens mount and the Genaray PortaBright uses the Bowens S mount.

Q: 8. Does the size of the modeling lamp have an effect on ability to use the full zoom range of the fresnel light modifier?

A: Just a caution that longer modeling lamps will have to be removed to avoid impact with the front of the fresnel - but it does not affect flash performance or quality of light.

Q: 9. I have Bowens Gemini 400s and I cannot get the lugs to engage this device. I have compared the size and spacing and they seem to match. Any suggestions?

A: I ran into the same issue with my Dynalite Baja's. The rear of the assembly on the fresnel was bumping up against the front of the light assembly. I filed about 1/8th of an inch off of the back of the lugs and it worked great. Hope this helps!

Q: 10. What is the range on this thing, approximately ?

A: The RF-900 has a range of about 2,000 feet or 600 meters.
