$164.85 $262.11

Ideal for any studio or stage, the DB100 Passive DI from On-Stage converts unbalanced, line-level signals from consumer audio sources to balanced, mic-level outputs that can be fed into high-powered amps, stage snakes, PA systems, mixers, interfaces, and preamps. The 3.5mm stereo TRS plug on the input end works with any audio source, such as laptops or digital music players and is attached to a 10' cable for easily reaching the audio source, while the other end sports a 3-pin male XLR connector, which converts the signal to mono.

The DB100 effectively eliminates most hum and noise caused by ground or electrical loops thanks to its transformer-based design and the handy ground-lift switch. A volume knob allows for additional adjustment of the output level between the audio source and the destination. This electrically isolated, passive DI requires no input power to operate and the durable metal enclosure keeps it safe during rigorous stage use.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How long is the 1/4" cable from main to passive speaker?

A: Pyle Pro does not indicate the length of the supplied speaker cable, but, from experience I can say that it is going to be 15-20'.

Q: 2. On the Palmer PAN 02 PRO Active DI Box What would happen if you plug in a xlr balanced signal into the the input labeled xlr unbalanced?

A: You would not experience any problems if you connect a balanced signal via XLR to the unbalanced XLR input on the Palmer PAN 02 PRO Active DI Box. The input will be grounded once it is connected and there is a ground switch as well as a transformer-balanced output which helps mitigate any unwanted noise.

Q: 3. Does it support 24bit/48khz?

A: It supports 44.1 or 48 khz at 16 bit.

Q: 4. Does it work with cubase? There is no comment about ASIO

A: This should work with any software that lets you choose the output device.

Q: 5. What size sub woofer is good for this ?

A: An 18" powered subwoofer would be a good match for the 12" speakers included with the Pyle Pro PPHP1249KT Active + Passive PA System. The Pyle Pro system does not have an output for a subwoofer, so a powered sub could be a good solution.

Q: 6. Can you plug good studio headphones into the stereo output on the back and toggle between the headphones and Nearfield monitors?

A: Yes, you can connect studio headphones and nearfield monitors and toggle between them. Depending on the headphones, you may want to use them with a headphone amplifier to provide more gain.

Q: 7. I have read in the BV6's description that the 75mm bowl can be removed to become a flat base to use on sliders. However, I can't seem to find any instructions anywhere on how to do this, and there doesn't seem to be an easy way to just remove the ballhead. Is there a solution to this?

A: There is a removable tie-down stud to convert the Benro BV6 Pro Video Tripod Kit to a flat base head.

Q: 8. What is the best way to connect this with my iMac as the input?

A: In order to get audio from an iMac to this speaker controller, you would either come out of the 3.5mm headphone/speaker output of the computer, or use it in conjunction with an audio interface, which would be connected to the computer via Thunberbolt or USB..

Q: 9. Office space has digital audio system installed like a crestron setup, with in ceiling speakers, and microphones. The setup has a USB output for audio, would this work to convert to XLR?

A: The Peavey USB-P - USB "Direct Box" for Outputting Computer Audio to PA System is designed to convert a computer's digital audio output to analog signal and is powered via its USB connection to the computer. The USB-P would not work to convert signal in a similar manner with a device that is sending signal into a computer over USB.

Q: 10. Can this be used to mix multiple headphone outputs into one headphone output or is this only intended for line in/out?

A: Although the Rolls MX41B could technically be used for headphone signals, the impedance of its inputs & outputs is not the same as the typical impedance range of headphones. This may lead to undesirable results and lower audio quality.
