A: The Shure BLX188/CVL Dual-Channel is what is known as a dual channel system. You get 2 mic's but 1 receiver with 2 outputs. Yes you are supposed to use both mic's at the same time. That is the purpose of the system. You cannot expand on the system.

A: The Shure BLX wireless system comes in the original retail packaging and does not include a case. We do have a Gator Cases Carry Bag for Shure BLX Dual-Channel Wireless System (B&H # GAGMDUALW) which is sold separately.

A: Anything is possible, but not recommended in this case. I think most DSLR audio inputs are at line level and not mic level. It's really meant for plugging into a wireless unit (which you would then plug into your DSLR).

A: The Shure BLX188 receiver is specifically designed to be a tabletop receiver, and is not rackmountable as per the manufacturer. The only BLX series that are rackmountable are the BLX14R and BLX24R models of single channel recievers.
