A: Both manufactures are highly well known. BH #STUSB31CSAT3 is a special order item. While BH #ANCSATA isn't. They're both design to do the same thing. At this point, it would be your personal preference.

Q: 8. I have 3 hard drives approx. 5 to 7 years Old, do You think it will work with them so I can retrieve data and Software from them?

A: The adapter should work, I have over 10 old IDE drives and found no problem using the adapter to transfer the contents over to boh SATA drives and Flash memories.

Q: 9. does anyone know if this (or any other) sata adapter cable will work with the atomos master caddy?

A: As per G-technology, the SATA connector might be slightly off. G-technology recommends that you get a USB adapter where the SATA and Power connectors are separate as opposed to a single piece as the adapter might not fit. However, you are welcome to purchase and try it out.

Q: 10. Some StarTech products (USB Docks) have a limitation of 4Tb drives or less. Is there any limit to the size of HD that can be used?

A: The StarTech USB 3.0 to IDE/SATA Adapter Cable can work with any capacity of drive, there is no limit.
