A: I have a model 450R, very similar to the 451R. They simply aren't able to handle the input of the 250 watt Chromega supply. I Used the timer to control a power relay to switch the power on & off. The relay uses little input current, but can handle up to 1,000 watts. You may want to contact an HVAC technician or an appliance repair shop for more information.
