The Sound Blaster Audigy Fx PCIe Sound Card from Creative Labs is the upgrade from basic motherboard audio to Sound Blaster audio. Powered by SBX Pro Studio technology, it provides 5.1 cinematic sounds for movies, music, and games. The Audigy Fx is a half-height sound card that's powered by the SBX Pro Studio technology. It instantly converts the system to a 5.1 entertainment system that delivers cinematic surround sound which is perfect for movies, music, and games. The Audigy Fx sound card also features a 24-bit/192 kHz digital-to-analog converter (playback), 106 dB SNR, and a high-end 600-Ohm headphone amplifier for studio-grade monitoring. Interchangeable full-height and half-height metal brackets are included to provide the flexibility of installing the sound card in small form factor desktop Windows computers.

I have an older HP desktop with integrated sound card that would not support a Visio 4.1 sound bar. Thought I would try this Sound Blaster card and now I have surround sound with subwoofer that is simply outstanding. Easy installation and setup. Love it. 5

The product works as advertised. I work at home and was in need of a better sound card than the integrated one on my motherboard and this product was it. Less memory use therefore tying up less resources. I have an older model PC and it has made the difference in getting my work done. 5

When my monitor (with speakers) died I got a new one without speakers. The old one was using HDMI and worked fine. Unfortunately the new one lacked speakers and I discovered that when I plugged my speakers into the computers on board card they wouldn't work. I purchased this Sound Blaster card to see if this would fix the problem. In short, it is the best I've seen. It was an easy installation and the sound is far superior to what I had before. I give it 5 stars for ease of installation and quality of product. 5

Look, the card is great! Plugged it in & it started playing & it sounds awesome! My only complaint- took 7 (SEVEN) days to arrive! DHL delivery stinks! I would have paid for a different delivery option (or locally) if I had known. Try working with a Comp. w/o sound for 7 days!!! 5

Very good sound card. It came with two mounting brackets so I could install it in my small form factor case. I plugged my Monsoon 2000 system in and waalaa! I've had this Monsoon system since new. Had to rebuild the power supply, and it's perfect now. It will last the rest of my life and you won't find a better sound system. B&H is GREAT! They are my go to for everything electronic now. Two thumbs down on the big South American river. 5
