You can DIY and take 3/9 threaded rod, two pieces of bar stock, drill straight holes, bolt the rod and bars to the 100mm bowl. Then add this Manfrotto 186 Female Threaded 3/8 to Male 5/8 Stud Adapter - 50mm Long B&H # MA186. That is the type of solution I have seen a good grip come up with a million times. However, this is something done on set when you have to get the shot. It is not something B&H can be responsible for. Therefore, in the interests of your long time welfare, we highly recommend spending the money and getting the proper stands. You will see this is much better for you since you will be able to go instantly between your Dana Dolly and your tripod. You will save your back and a lot of time on set. And time is something you never have enough of on set.
