Q: 2. What is the best way to use there cards to white balance your production?

A: I use the card when I use a pair of hot lights to light my subject. The lights put out a very warm light. Once the lights are set up, I place the card in the scene and take a picture. When I review the pictures from that session in Lightroom, I pull up that first picture with the card. I use Lightroom's automatic white ballance tool with the curser over the portion of the picture that shows the card -- or more specifically I place the curser on the portion card such as the red color or black color. I click and the white ballances changes to something very acceptable. Then I make the same white ballance change to all the pictures taken during that session. I'm sure there are more sophisticated ways to do this, but this one produces very acceptable results.

A: Unfortunately, the manufacturer's website is currently down due to technical issues and it is not yet back online. It appears their main site has been hacked and is currently pointing to a Chinese server. They are currently working on the issue.
