A: While this would work for connecting the headphone out of the H1n to a mic input on the GH4, you would lose the ability to monitor from the recorder. Here's another attenuator cable that gives you a separate headphone output B&H # KOACH425MON.

A: This cable does not have an attenuation pad in it, so you would not get the same quality audio. You can use a standard 3.5mm to 3.5mm extension cable with the H6 cable if you need extra length.

A: This attenuating cable will only work if connected into the right side as the label indicates, it will does not work the reverse way.

You would set the light outside the light tent, shining the light onto the exterior fabric, and the fabric diffuses the light, providing soft, even lighting on the subject inside the tent. You can control the light by varying the distance between the light and the softbox.
