Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Good build quality. Inexpensive. Has a locking mechanism for bulb mode. Make sure this is disengaged before using it for normal timed shutter exposures. 5

It works just like a cable release should. I use one of these for 99% of my exposures, and I find it hard to imagine what you get for ten times this price that I don't get with this. 5

Very reliable, there are two different options, one that just triggers the shutter, and the second one locks in so it's ideal for long exposures at night. Recommended! 5

Work with the Disc-Lock (for Long Exposures / Bulb Mode) at home to get an idea of how it works. It is very simple, but annoying if you threw away the package and didn't pay attention to the directions or features. You end up fiddling with it in the hot sun wishing you tried it out at home first. 5

I sometimes need a Cable release for long lens shots or long exposures, but don't need a big one. This shutter release appears to be fine and sturdy. I like the cable lock on it as well as sometimes the exposures are long even with digital shots. 5
