Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How high does the stand put the screen? From the floor / base also width to include the frame to top of screen & side to side what are those dimensions?

A: The KHOMO GEAR Portable Projector Screen (51 x 92") BH #KHGER1153 when fully built is approximately 92" wide x 84" high

Q: 2. Will this screen work with an ultra short throw projector?

A: The KHOMO GEAR Portable Projector Screen (51 x 92")BH #KHGER1153 is not designed for use with UST projectors.

Q: 3. Is the quality and compact size of prime lenses worth the loss of convenience compared to zooms?

A: The quality of this lens is definitely outstanding. But, I already owned several zoom lenses before I purchased this lens. I am a fan of the zoom for general usage.

Q: 4. Is this lens compatible with the K7?

A: Yes, most definitely.

Q: 5. Is this for cropped sensors only? Would this not work on a K-1 mk II?

A: The Pentax HD Pentax DA 70mm f/2.4 Limited Lens (Black) is only for Pentax cropped sensor cameras. The lens is incompatible since the Pentax K-1 Mark II DSLR Camera is full-frame.

Q: 6. IIs this lens any good for night sky?

A: The HD Pentax 15mm f/4 can be used for night photography if you have a tripod and don't mind star trails. If you're looking to capture photos of sharp stars, I would consider a lens with a wider aperture.

Q: 7. Is this lens water-resistant?

A: No, it isn't.Pentax designates weather-resistant lenses with the letters WR, which are not on this lens..There is no gasket on the mount, for instance. The D-FA 100 mm macro lens, and the 20-40 Limited lens are WR, as are versions of the kit zooms and the 55-300.Their top level of weather-proofing (on the star lenses) is designated AW, for all-weather.

Q: 8. Would the DA 21mm be a good lens for my K-50? I need a wide angle lens, since I am starting to shoot some photos for my friends landscaping business.

A: HI Don, I've had this lens a couple years, on my K-7. I travel for work internationaly, and am an amatuer photog. I like landscapes and a wider field of view even in city streets. It's light, guite fast and compact and seems very durable, even in extreme polar regions. I'm very happy with my pics, but there is some distortion say in city skylines and some horizons, if you use the odd looking rectangular sunshade cover made for the lens seems to help with that alot. It is subject to sunflares from sides but I often just block with my hand. I'd say I'm quite happy with it, Its well made, and I take it everywhere, but again I'm not a pro. For photos of residential landscapes it should work well, but it's not inexpensive as you've probably seen, make sure you take it along to scenic places too if you buy it! Hope this was some help, dave

Q: 9. Does this lens work without electronic camera control? If I use a dummy mount adapter to EF, can I do manual focus and iris control? Or is the fstop only able to be adjusted by a camera that speaks to the lens?

A: The aperture on this lens would need to be controlled by the camera or an adapter with manual aperture control.

Q: 10. I like to have a UV filter on all of my lenses. I can't seem to find any that would fit this particular lens. Any suggestions?

A: Try Breakthrough photography, they have excellent UV filters in 49mm.
